Class Standing: Third year.
Character’s Background: Ever since he was three, Ephraim has been constantly moving between homes. To him, Japan was just another stop in his perpetually moving life. Not having a stable home affected Ephraim greatly. He didn't have friends, he didn't try to get friends and he didn't try to adjust. Why bother if he was going to move in a year or maybe even in a few months? It wasn't worth it. That was a hard lesson he had to learn during his early years.
2009 was his second year in Japan, but his family never stayed in the same place for too long. Now they were moving to Iwatodai, which meant he had to transfer to another school since his old one was too far away. Gekkoukan didn't seem different to other schools at first glance and Iwatodai was just another city. He thought it would be the same as always.
Wrong.
One night when returning to his home, he found himself surrounded by coffins. He wasn't able to remember much the next day, so he dismissed it as his imagination playing tricks. Except it repeated a couple of days later and this time he was able to remember more of it. Still a bit skeptic, he decided to not think about it, but soon enough he got an invitation to join S.E.E.S., saying he had the 'potential'.
Character’s Personality: His personality could be defined as blunt, honest, stubborn, serious and stern. Sometimes obnoxious, annoying and patronizing. Ephraim doesn't like people that always are goofing around and doing nothing good. He gives all his effort in everything he does, but he isn't always the best. This doesn't bother him at all since he thinks that what is important is doing your best, not being the best. He expects the same from everyone else, which is why he nags and bothers people when they slack off. He's aloof but not extremely quiet, he voices his opinion whenever he thinks it's necessary.
Ephraim is a very good student, but he's not a member of any club at the moment. It's not because he thinks that all of them are wastes of time, but because he wants to avoid unnecessary social interaction. Feeling in control and order is very important for him, so he keeps a strict, daily schedule. Due to moving constantly and never adapting himself to it, he's very socially awkward, which is the reason he avoids interaction.
Sample RP (Log): Ephraim stole a glance at the clock while writing the last problem in his notebook. Maths was his worst class, so he had to pay extra attention and work twice as hard for it if he wanted to succeed. 'It's important and interesting', he told himself.
But for some reason he couldn't help, but sigh in relief when the class ended and the murmurs started, signaling the start of Lunch time. Just like every other day, he decided to go eat on the roof. Hopefully, that obnoxious kid from the last time won't be there. Hearing a call from one of his classmates, but ignoring it, he strolled out of the classroom with lunch in hand.
Sample RP (Journal): I don't see the point of keeping one of these. It's a waste of time. That being said, I suppose I'll have to waste my time with these since it is an order. However, don't expect me to update this journal very often. I have better things to do with my time, unlike a bunch of you.
